Bec Morris was raised in Sydney, Australia, and moved to Los Angeles in the summer of 2017 to pursue her career in dance.

Her love of dance began at just two years old at one of Australia’s most acclaimed studios, Brent Street Performing Arts. Over the years, Bec trained extensively in jazz, tap, ballet, and musical theatre, later expanding into contemporary and hip hop in her late teens. She graduated from Brent Street’s Certificate IV program in 2010.

At just 15, Bec began teaching younger dancers at Brent Street, and by 21, she was leading the after-school program (now known as YP & PTP). Balancing a full schedule, she worked in the office during the day and taught classes in the evenings, including hip hop, jazz funk, and jazz, among other styles.

Throughout her professional career in Australia, Bec had the opportunity to work on some of the country’s most sought-after productions, including X Factor Australia, the NRL Grand Final, Dance Academy (TV series and film), the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, Opera Australia, Australia’s Got Talent, and campaigns for Telstra and Royal Caribbean. She also performed alongside artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Flo Rida, Little Mix, Jessie J, Charli XCX, Redfoo, Aston Merrygold, Lunchmoney Lewis, Cody Simpson, and more.

In August 2017, Bec obtained her U.S. working visa and relocated to Los Angeles, where she signed with Go 2 Talent Agency and quickly immersed herself in the American dance industry. Within just six months, she booked one of the biggest jobs of her career—performing with Nicki Minaj. Throughout 2018, Bec toured and performed with Minaj across award shows, festivals, television appearances, and music videos. Working under the creative direction of Jamie King (Michael Jackson, Cirque du Soleil, Bruno Mars), she fulfilled many of her childhood dreams, performing on some of the world’s biggest stages.

In 2019, Bec joined J Balvin on his ‘Arcoiris’ Tour, a visually stunning, high-energy production created by The Squared Division (Britney Spears, Katy Perry). The tour traveled to over 30 cities across the United States, including sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden and Crypto Arena in Los Angeles, before continuing through Latin America with arena and stadium performances.

In recent years, Bec has shifted further into choreography and creative direction. She began collaborating with director Santiago Salviche (JLo, Marc Anthony, Danna Paola), choreographing music videos including 'Mala Fama' (Danna Paola), 'Get What U Get' (Chloe Flower), and 'Small Things' (JoJo). Through this work, she began a long-standing creative partnership with Joanna Levesque (JoJo). Together, they’ve collaborated on television appearances such as The Kelly Clarkson Show, U.S. tours, festivals, and additional music videos. Bec has also co-creative directed JoJo’s 'What U Need' music video, developed live show visuals, and served as a dance coach while JoJo prepared for her role as the Sparkling Diamond in ‘Moulin Rouge!’ on Broadway.

Bec has stepped deeper into the world of creative direction and production. Since August 2023, she has served as director for the hit theatrical burlesque show ‘The Empire Strips Back’. Blending dance, storytelling, and a bold, out-of-this-world aesthetic, the production has become a global sensation, with consistently sold-out runs across the US, EU, UK, Canada, and Mexico, and now holds a residency at the Rio Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas.

Recently, while working for NX5 Theatrical, she co-created, directed, and choreographed the brand new show 'The Nightmare On Strips Street'. After previewing in 2024 with a sold-out run, the show continues to captivate audiences across the US with its bold, sexy, horror-inspired world.

Now working as a director, choreographer, and creative, Bec Morris continues to evolve her voice, driven by a passion for storytelling, collaboration, and building visually compelling worlds on stage.
